Lanai 1st Cathedral Dive, Maui, Hawaii

My first cave dive, this is video I took in the Lanai Cathedral which is a submerged lava tube. At the end of the cathedral are intersecting tubes, an “alter” with a wall with holes reminiscent of stained glass. One of those tubes is called the shotgun. Divers time their passage based on the current which flows in and out. During my trip you’ll see move forward and then back up as the current reverses, finally then reversing again and shooting me out of the 15 foot long tunnel. A great dive.
