When Gayle was diagnosed with cancer last year, she said that once she was cured, she would like to go to Hawaii again (we went for our 10th anniversary in ‘95). So, here we are, this time with Ben and Lela in tow, spending a full 10 days in the island paradise of Maui. Join us as we explore the wonders of God’s creation here in the middle of the pacific.

Tiger shark spotted during an afternoon dive in gin clear water at Honokowai, West Maui, Hawaii. The tiger shark was sighted August 17, 2007 at 2:38 pm.
Having seen a tiger shark on two other occasions and being too stunned to turn on a camera, this time I managed to aim-and-hope.
Well, at least this time we did get “something”…
When a tiger shark really gives you time to see it you feel privileged. I never felt fear, just WONDER. WOW WOW WOW… what a beastie.
