If you don’t know how to Paraglide then hook up with an expert paragliding instructor in Oahu and learn to fly while on vacation. Oahu is a fantastic place to fly. With about 70 different flying sites just on Oahu there are many different places to fly and things to experience. This trip was amazing. It is highly recommended.

What are the best beaches for family in Maui, Hawaii?

I'm going with my family to Hawaii in August but I have a 6 year old sister and a 2 year old sister and I want to be at a nice and safe beach.
The beaches at Ka anapali are the family friendliest on the island. I found the bit just in front of the Royal Lahaina a bit more gentle than in front of the Maui Ocean club, but both were good. The cliff where the divers do their thing is in between the two, and offers some good snorkeling.
We would like to visit Kauai next year for about 10 days. We like a 3- or 4-star hotel, but also don't like the trouble and cost of a rental car.
Where could we stay that is near a town/village which is accessible by bus or walking? I like to go into town for shopping and museums, etc. rather than just lay on the beach all day.

there are just to many hotels to choose. Do you want to be in Lihui or Kapaa or Princeville. Personally I love Hanelei bay and would choose the Princeville hotel. It is absolutely spectacular but a bit pricey.

Jerry or Steve will be happy to help you find a vacation rental that meets your needs. They do real estate sales in Maui, but they also have some very nice homes and condos that are rentals as well.
Homes, condos, rentals, etc in Hawai'i are built fairly small. You might have a tough time finding an affordable place to fit all 8-10 people, but you may be able to split that up to 2 places to stay that each can house 4-5 people.
