Spring break at Turtle Bay Resort. Stayed in a “beach cottage”. Matsumoto Shaved Ice is a must do! Pineapple Whip at the Dole Pineapple Plantation was another good treat. During our horseback ride at the resort, the trail guide pointed out the banyan tree that Sayid was strapped to in season 5 episode 10 of Lost.

How to get there:
From Lihue International Airport turn right at the first set of traffic lights onto Kapule Highway (51). Continue on Highway 51 until it intersects with Kuhio Highway (#56).
