Anakalia’s Hawaii 2009 – Oahu
Author: admin
I created this photo/video to celebrate my wonderful first visit to Hawaii, attending my cousin’s wedding and meeting my Samoan relatives for the first time. I fell in love with Hawaii, it’s beauty, everyone was so nice and I just had a great time which I feel is reflected in my images.
I discovered my name in Hawaiian is Anakalia and created original music to complement the video and my ‘new’ name.
The hotel in Laie, Hawaii, was adequate considering only used it to bath and sleep. It had an outdoor pool, free breakfast each morning and free Wi-Fi in their lobby.
The beach was across the road and the best surprise was The Bus! the stop was in front of the Inn and went straight into Waikiki (90 minutes- beautiful ride- $2.25 and a free transfer)
