What can you do on the island of Oahu in Hawaii?

My husband and I are going to Oahu in Hawaii at the end of May. Does anyone know what we can do there?
You can para-sail, swim and snorkel, go nightclubbing, go to a luau, go to the Polynesian cultural center, shopping, go to pearl harbor, and well just about anything you want. it is like a big city like San Francisco, but with great weather and surrounded by beautiful beaches. Be careful not to get sunburned is rule #1. It's very easy to get sun burned.
do you know the name of them?
I think you might be talking about Hawaiian lobelioids.
What are the best beaches for family in Maui, Hawaii?

I'm going with my family to Hawaii in August but I have a 6 year old sister and a 2 year old sister and I want to be at a nice and safe beach.
The beaches at Ka anapali are the family friendliest on the island. I found the bit just in front of the Royal Lahaina a bit more gentle than in front of the Maui Ocean club, but both were good. The cliff where the divers do their thing is in between the two, and offers some good snorkeling.
I'll be staying on oahu for a week in sept. I was wondering if there are any private beaches I can go to. I don't mind paying money to go there. And what are all the main attractions in oahu? Any answers would be really helpful.
I dont know about private beaches, but you can get a killer hotel deal if you use a corporate travel broker like www.corporatetravelgifts.com – they give wholesale hotel pricing for less than hotwire, you can get a good deal for 5 days in Oahu at a nice resort for just $399 for 2 adults. Use whatever extra $ you save to do fun stuff on the island – Good luck!
Kauai vacation?

Were going to Kauai for vacation on Monday and I were staying at the aloha beach resort. I was wondering if anyone has stayed that this hotel before, and how is the island. What all did you do?
Didn't stay at that hotel. Try Backroad adventures – they have an awesome zipline adventure – floating down a river on tubes – lots of fun.
The island is rainy – beautiful – see Waimea Canyon.
We would prefer Wailea area and to be on or VERY close to the beach. If you've stayed in places and loved them, please let me know the unit numbers.
i would suggest the Kapalua Villas up near Lahaina. They rent out very large Villas for reasonable rates. Great for a family. The area and the nearby beaches cant be beat….
