My fiance and I are planning to wed in Hawaii!
I have always wanted to get married in the fall- September or October. Per my research, they both seem to be fairly good weather months and low tourism which should mean good rates. However- these months are also during hurricane season and though it has been a while since Hawaii has endured a hurricane- I can’t help but worry about that.
My second choice is May…non-hurricane season, also good rates and weather.
Which month would be the best time to visit???
Kauai is the only island that is hurricane-prone but it does happen about once a decade or so (we are overdue). May is a great time as well, and a good time for Kauai. Early in May should get you great deals on hotels and other expenses.

Average Oahu Vacation Price?

So, what would the average price be for a trip to Oahu for about 1 week with 1 adult, an 18 year old and a 15 year old? We don't need a lot of activities to keep us busy, but we would like to try surfing lessons. We are content with swimming, laying on the beach, shopping, walking around. Any activities that you would DEFINETLY recommend? It would be at any time of the year. We wouldn't need to stay in an extremely fancy hotel. Any other information you want to include would be great.
$3000 for your 3 guys, $1000 for airtickets, $1000 for 6 nights hotel, another $1000 for food, activities, Hawaii is very expensive.

Going for 10 day honeymoon. Both young and active. Any ideas?
Going in October, been to big island, Maui, Oahu and liked them. I thought my wife booked a hotel in Oahu actually, turned out she booked Kauai based on recommendations from her friends. Not sure what to do there, seems kinda low key.
Island hop – visit Maui and the Big Island.
Kauai is great to drive to the Northern Beach, and good restaurants but not much else in my opinion. Check out tripadvisor for additional details.
Not sure what time of year as it is low season now.
We are staying in Wailea area over Christmas vacation and due to busy season, I am looking to make reservations now for restaurants. Do you have any recommendations for really nice restaurants with good variety of food. We like to splurge so it doesn't matter how expensive it is (which we know Hawaii is pretty expensive any way). We will have a car so we can drive to any place on Maui. Thanks.
